Who are the Bay of Plenty’s killer exporters? Winners announced BNZ Bay of Plenty ExportNZ Awards

  • Date Added: 2nd July 2012 from ExportNZ

  • Winners of the BNZ Bay of Plenty ExportNZ awards were named on Friday night in true ‘Cluedo’ mystery style – the theme of the night.

Guests were treated to what was more like a theatre production, than a usual awards ceremony – with Detective Te Radar and his devious sidekick Ms Scarlett (Ruth Spencer) holding the proceedings in the library complete with secret revolving door.

ExportNZ BOP Executive Officer Angela Wallace says it was an amazing event, which had a huge buzz around it right from the beginning, with tickets selling out in 48 hours. The theme Cluedo ‘Who are the Bay of Plenty’s killer exporters’ has obviously struck a chord in the export community and the majority of guests had made some effort to dress in theme.

Judging coordinator Hugh King says that the 2012 Export Awards "has again attracted a high caliber of successful BOP exporters who have survived and grown in the high dollar environment. The finalists and winners reflect a broad portfolio of products, services, innovation and global markets. These are our tall poppies and it great to see them and their teams recognised."

ExportNZ Bay of Plenty and BNZ Partners congratulate the winners for their outstanding achievements.
